Join us for the 2011 KMb Expo 2011: Putting the Social in Innovation for York Region ! This event has been organized by the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Unit at York University. 
 
The 4th annual York KMb Expo will explore the relationship between knowledge mobilization and social innovation in York Region. The day will feature plenary discussions, networking sessions and optional workshops.
 

Registration is free but space is limited to 80 participants. Attendees can sign up for the whole day or just for one of the afternoon workshops.

Driving Directions

From the South- Take the DVP/Highway 404 north and exit at Steeles Ave. Take Steeles Ave east to Warden Ave. Turn left on Warden Ave and then right into the MCC parking lot.

From the North- Take Highway 404 south and exit at Highway 7. Take Highway 7 east to Warden Ave. Turn right on Warden and then left into the MCC parking lot.

From York University- Take Highway 7 east to Warden Ave. Turn right on Leslie and then left into the MCC parking lot. Alternatively- take Highway 407 (toll road) to Warden Ave. southbound and turn left into the MCC parking lot.

 

Parking

There is limited free parking directly behind the MCC building off of Warden Avenue.

 

Traffic Considerations

Please be advised that traffic along Highway 7 can be very slow during rush hours due to volume and a major construction project happening between Bayview Ave and Highway 404, so allow extra time if you plan to travel along Highway 7.

 

Transit Directions

From Finch Station- Take the Viva Green line (during morning and afternoon rush hours only) and exit at Warden Ave and Denison St. and walk north to MCC

From York University Keele Campus- Take the Viva Purple Eastbound line and depart at Enterprise/Warden and transfer to Viva Green (during morning and afternoon rush hours only). Exit at Denison St. MCC will be across the street and a short walk north.
